We left off with a question:

Could there be a form where every change makes sense, not in isolation, but in context, through rules that preserve coherence?

That brought us to E₈, not because it explains nature, but because it shows us what completeness can look like. A structure built from rules, not parts. Entirely self-contained, yet deeply relational.

In this post, we stay with E₈ itself.

Not to apply it, not yet. But to understand what kind of object it is.

What does it mean to have 248 dimensions? Why are there exactly 8 ranks? What are these so-called roots, and how do they generate motion? Why is E₈ not part of any infinite family?
